I. Characteristics
The HD-2 modular pressure regulating valve is a composite spool-type directional control valve consisting of two 2/3-way directional control valves and one 3-way pressure regulating valve.
There are 2 intake ports, working ports 1 and 3, and a pressurization port 8—totaling 4 connection ports.
The initial position of the handle lever is the middle position (i.e., the closed position). When the lever is moved 11° from the middle closed position in either direction, port 1 or port 3 will provide full inlet air pressure. Meanwhile, the other port remains connected to the atmosphere. Continue operating the handle lever in the same direction. At this point, the pressure regulating valve opens, and port 8 begins to deliver a variable-pressure air supply. As the handle angle increases, the pressure at port 8 gradually rises until it reaches the rated maximum output pressure.
This valve is primarily used to control the engine’s steering, reverse clutch, and throttle. It is also suitable for applications that combine lever-operated directional control with pressure control. Weight: 4.2 kg.
II. Connection Method
Port 1 — Output: When the handle lever moves clockwise from the “center” position to 11°, the output system will provide the inlet pressure.
Port No. 2 is the air inlet.
Port No. 3 — Output: When the handle lever moves counterclockwise from the “middle” position to 11°, the output system will provide the inlet pressure.
Port 8—Output: Continue operating the handle lever in any direction. At this point, Port 8 will output a variable pressure (0 to rated pressure).
III. Model Analysis
HD-2-X Reset Rotary Combination Valve — When the operating force is removed, the handle lever automatically returns to the valve’s “middle” or “closed” position from any initial position.
HD-2-FX Positioning Turntable Combination Valve — The handle lever can be held at any position within the operating range. The holding friction force is adjustable.
HD-2-LX Limit-Position Rotary Valve Assembly—When the manual handle lever is moved out of the locked position (the extreme travel position), and the external force is then removed, the handle lever can automatically return to the valve’s “middle” or “closed” position.
