I. Uses and Characteristics
The YF-S type relief valve features a balanced-piston design and a handwheel for pressure adjustment. It offers reliable operation, stable performance, and numerous advantages, including compact size, light weight, easy maintenance, and low noise. As a critical component in hydraulic systems, it enables precise control of the set pressure to remain nearly constant or prevents overpressure, thereby providing essential safety protection.
Rotating the pressure-adjustment handwheel changes the valve’s set pressure: turning it to the right increases the pressure, while turning it to the left decreases it. By replacing the spring, different pressure adjustment ranges can be achieved.
In this series of valves, port P is the inlet port, port T(0) is the drain port, and port K is the external control port.
