I. Characteristics
The M-2 series handle-operated pressure regulator is a three-way pressure-regulating valve controlled by a handle. It is available in two models: the M-2 reset-type handle regulator and the M-2-F positioning-type handle regulator, with corresponding reference model numbers R431000656 and R431000660, respectively. Although the model designations differ, the external appearance, internal structure, and mounting dimensions are identical for both versions. Depending on the position of the control handle, the M-2 series handle regulator can increase, decrease, or maintain the outlet pressure. With the control handle facing the operator, clockwise rotation of the handle increases the pressure, while the outlet pressure remains fixed at the setpoint indicated by the handle. These handle-controlled regulators are used for pressure regulation and control in a wide range of pneumatic systems and can operate both indoors and outdoors; their low-temperature design enables reliable operation in colder environments. Port P serves as the inlet, and port A is the outlet. The M-2 series handle regulator is commonly employed on logging trucks.
